What controls should be placed on blogs, if any? Do you see them as a way of distributing power in the culture between traditional media outlets and ordinary individuals? Why or why not?

I personally believe that there should be no controls on blogs.  A blog is a place where people can get stuff of of their chest.  Its there own little place where they can be in charge.  Who cares what people put on their blog, its their blog and if you don't like it go somewhere else you don't need to listen to them if you don't like what they are saying.
