I agree that this will output better movies in the future. The reason being that a lot of movie makers today are worried more about distribution than anything. (other than their movie) Anyhow the point is that the producers will be able to make movies more creatively than before, because they have more time to worry about making their movie awesome than distributing the movie that will come in the future.
Another thing it could change is the rate at which movies are made. For the reason that it becomes a simple process. Make the movie, distribute the movie, and buy the movie. This process leaves less hassle and worry on how they will distribute it. Digitalization is completely changing the way that movies are made and distributed. Digitalization is sure to speed up the process of the entire movie business let alone the distribution.
